My Toolkit

Product Design

I am passionate about exploring underlying user needs and translating them into intuitive technology-enabled solutions. My background in UX/UI, psychology, and art help me create immersive and aesthetic interfaces. At the same time, my simultaneous focus on detail and the bigger picture allows me to design without compromising on functionality.

User Research

I was awarded “Most Curious” during my sixth-grade camping trip (obviously the coolest award, right?). Fast forward to today, that same endless inquisitiveness is enhanced by an education in Human-Computer Interaction and Psychology; the combination fuels my interest in understanding users on a deeper level.

Entrepreneurship

innovation (2).png

I constantly observe the world around me and actively problem-solve new possibilities. Once I have an idea, I am ready to do whatever it takes, from the mundane tasks to the crucial decisions. Crucially, I believe in the importance of pausing, reflecting, and learning as I do so--this perpetual feedback loop keeps me working smartly.

GET TO KNOW ME

“Shanzay makes things happen. She has proven over and over again to be an innovative problem solver. She never lets things be “good enough”—she creatively asks “what if....?” and doggedly thinks of ways things can be better. What’s incredible is that she delivers on her ideas, often taking the initiative to study and experiment and create. Shanzay is also a born leader, inspiring me to keep up with her pace and her passion for whatever she puts her mind to. I’m beyond lucky to have worked with her throughout and after college.”
